This article is strictly for tournaments and how I will be looking to navigate large field or High Stakes tournaments. If you are looking for chalky picks, you are in the wrong place.
Attacking GPP with Paulie D
Great to be back Nation! Although I did not cash at the Live Final, it was a great experience and I learned a bunch and met a lot of people in the industry. DFS really is a community and it is great to be a part of it. It was cool to see how many people knew about the WiseTake nation and had nothing but good things to say, so that was inspiring and has me pumped to get back into it. With that said, here is a little taste for the early slate, which I am writing as if you are playing on DK.
P – Roark, Richard, Nelson, Pivetta
C – Pina, Beef, Hundley
1B – Zimmerman, Alonso, Hoskins
2B – Espinosa, Cano, Villar
3B – Rendon, Machado, Dietrich
SS – Semian, Beckham, Coleman
OF – Trumbo (top play on slate), M. Taylor, K. Davis, Kendrick, Lind, Margot, Parker, Pence, Ozuna, Calhoun, Bonofacio
*** MUST FADE*** Stanton
Top Stacks – Oakland, Baltimore, Nationals
Pitchers to Pick on – Gonzales, Nolasco, Ubaldo
You already know, on small slates we look to stack. Either 4×4, or 4x3x1, especially with these low totals and pitcher friendly stadiums, you have to try and find the one or two that actually go off. I’ll probably go with the Nats or the Orioles as my 4 man stack and the other as a 2 or 3 with a piece of Oakland as well.
Good Luck
