This article is strictly for tournaments and how I will be looking to navigate large field or High Stakes tournaments. If you are looking for chalky picks, you are in the wrong place.
Attacking GPP w/ Paulie D
Nice 12 game slate today. Tons of great pitching options a few elite hitting options to choose from. Today I would build a core of 5 bats like a 3×2 stack core and rotate the pitching and remaining 3 bats through 3-5 teams. As always on large slates I favor a 3x3x2 or 2x2x2x2 approach.

C – Suzuki, McCann, H Sanchez
1B – Reynolds, Votto, C Davis
2B – Gennett, Lowrie, Schoop
3B – Arenado, Bregman, Valbuena
SS – Valaika, Beckham, Andrus
OF – Carlos Gonzalez (top play of the Month…. Get used to this…), JD Martinez, B. Hamilton, A jones, C Young, Choo, Parra, Blackmon, Ozuna, Broxton, Williams, K. Davis
Top Stacks – Rockies, Orioles, Reds
Pitchers to Attack – Verhagen, Pivetta, Lynn
I think Gerrit Cole will be chalk tonight and in tournaments he is a fade for me. The padres have sneakily become one of the top power hitting teams since the break and Cole does have the blow up about once every 5 starts or so. For the bats I will be going to Baltimore and the Reds mainly with Cargo and JD one offs.
Good Luck
