Attacking GPP with Paulie D

P – J Biagini, K Maeda, J Paxton, and D Pomeranz

Look I understand fading Scherzer is hard, but he is just way too expensive to put together any kind of high upside line up together. He is a lock for cash games but on a 15 game slate I think like finding some mid-tier gems with K upside and pay up on bats. I have included my top value plays if you are going the Scherzer route.

C – Hermann, Chirinos, Sal Perez (owns Verlander)

1B – Bellinger, Votto, VALUE – J Jaso, A Lind

2B – D. Murphy, Scooter Gennett, Cano

3B –  J. Turner (TOP PLAY OF THE DAY), R Healy, C Headley (value)

SS – C. Seager (make sure he playing), Bogaerts, C Correa, Featherston (value)

OF – G Springer, M Betts, A. Benintendi, M Ozuna, S Peterson (value)

Top Stacks – Reds, Houston, Cleveland, Texas

On a 15 game slate we don’t have to worry about ownership, play the best plays that you like. I want to pick on Hector Santiago today coming off the DL and most likely the awful Twins bullpen when he gets yanked. I also like the reds coming back home vs a fly ball pitcher. Keep an eye on implied run totals as there have been some drastic moves and I like to follow Vegas.

Good Luck
