This article is strictly for tournaments and how I will be looking to navigate large field or High Stakes tournaments. If you are looking for chalky picks, you are in the wrong place.

Attacking GPPs with Paulie D

P – Godley, Nova, Perdomo

Yesterday we saw Scherzer bust at 30-45% ownership depending which tournament you played. I expect to see similar ownership today as you can basically fit Strasburg with any combination of stacks that you want. With that said I think Strasburg will have a similar game as Scherzer and at 10K I don’t think the point per dollar value is there. I also do not think he has much chance for a ceiling game here. He is a full fade for me in tournaments and the three pitchers above are my preferred pivots to match or exceed Strasburg on a point per dollar value.

C – Hermann, Sal Perez, Avila, T. Barnhart

1B – Miguel Cabrera (TOP PLAY OF THE DAY), J Votto, K. Morales

2B – Scooter Gennett, B. Dozier (BVP Alert), F. Barreto

3B – M. Davidson, M. Sano, E. Suarez

SS –Xander Bogaerts, C. Correa, D. Gregorius

OF – G Springer, J Reddick, L Cain, D. Peralta, C. Granderson

Top StacksTigers, Houston, Reds, Toronto

On a 13 game slate ownership should be mostly spread out, but I do expect the Blue Jays and Diamondbacks to be popular. That said I have interest in both those teams but like the Tigers and Astros a bit better and will lean towards the tops of both of those lineups in the bulk of my teams. Lastly. I think you want to get some Reds exposure, especially from the power guys like Votto, Schebler (best Profile) and Duvall.

Good Luck
