Very long course here. Holes 1-5 were redesigned for 2016. This course was hardest on tour last year for the PGA Championship but won’t play nearly as hard this year. The fairways are narrow lined by trees. Not much water here at all and ruff won’t be near as thick as last year at the PGA. Less the 50% of fairways are hit here so distance is more important then accuracy but both together in total driving might be more important. I’ll be looking at bombers a little more but isn’t a must. The greens here are average in size and have very steep slopes and multi layered. Won’t be near as fast this year as last but putting is important this week. Need to make putts within 10 feet. Most guys that have won this event before have been very good on the par 5’s. This course is very long even the par 3’s.
