Welcome to Cuse’s Core Four, in this article I’m going to go over a core of players that are optimal for today’s slate. The Core Four can be used in Cash or GPP so I will specify which format I prefer for each player.
Cuse’s Core Four w/ Cuse
Rich Hill ($10,300-DK, $9,000-FD) -The Main slate doesn’t have many options and I love Hill tonight versus Arizona who just came off the Coors. We have been following this all year and maybe Vegas is starting to as well since they have Arizona with a 3.9 implied total for tonight. Hill is a must play for me in Cash games and is a viable GPP option.
Freddie Freeman ($5,600-DK, $4,200-FD) – Freeman has some very good BvP vs Cashner and he is starting to heat up again. Lock him in while you can and play him in Cash and GPP’s tonight
Carlos Gomez ($4,100-DK, $3,400-FD) – Gomez has started to heat up and has hit .500 vs R.A. Dickey…lock him in batting 4th. Gomez is my play of the day tonight.
Sam Travis ($2,700-DK, $2,000-FD) – If you are looking for value tonight here you go, Travis hasn’t been up since early July but did well enough then for us to consider him tonight. Travis is a great option for Cash and GPP.
