Welcome to Cuse’s Core Four, in this article I’m going to go over a core of players that are optimal for today’s slate. The Core Four can be used in Cash or GPP so I will specify which format I prefer for each player.
Cuse’s Core Four w/ Cuse
Jacob deGrom ($12,600-DK, $10,100-FD) –deGrom has owned the Phillies this year so it’s hard to fade his high floor tonight in any format. It’s well known that deGrom at home has been lights out so lock him in tonight for cash games.
Whit Merrifield ($4,100-DK, $3,500-FD) – Sanchez has been crushed by RH batters this year and Merrifield has been hot of late. Kansas City has a high implied total tonight so expect Merrifield to rack up the points and is my play of the day today.
Did Gregorius ($3,900-DK, $3,200-FD) – Hellickson has a 40% fly ball rate the lefties and Gregorius is having a great season. Gregorius is a prime candidate to go yard tonight in Baltimore.
George Springer ($5,000-DK, $3,900-FD) – Correa has come back and so have the Astros bats. The Astros get to face Miranda tonight who is known for giving up the homerun so lock Springer in tonight.
