In this article I will write up the pitchers I am considering for GPPs. I typically only play one main line-up and enter it into the amount of contests I want to play for the night, needless to say my player pool is very narrow.

To be clear I typically don’t make my final choice until moments before the games start. This is because I am always checking the WiseTake Pitching model to see what opposing line-up numbers look like. I do however have a short list of pitchers that I am interested in for the day and will be sharing that with you.

Slate Notes: Only five games. Obviously Archer, Lester and Godley are the obvious options tonight and they seem relatively safe. I am fading the Marlins today so on a five game slate I think I am going try to leverage the field.

Robert Stephenson – The cheapest pitcher on FanDuel, that’s right. This kid faced the Marlins on the 22nd and went 5.1 innings with five earned runs and five strikeouts but that was in Cincinnati. This time the game is in Miami which is a pretty significant park boost. Miami is also without Justin Bour who is a huge lefty threat. Stephenson threw 100 pitches despite giving up five runs and Miami is returning home from Texas and just put up 20+ runs, this could be a great leverage play.
