In this article I will write up the pitchers I am considering for GPPs. I typically only play one to three line-ups and enter them into the amount of contests I want to play for the night, needless to say my player pool is typically pretty narrow.
To be clear I typically don’t make my final choices until moments before the games start. This is because I am always checking the WiseTake Pitching model to see what opposing line-up numbers look like. I do however have a short list of pitchers that I am interested in for the day and will be sharing that with you.
GPP Pitching Prospectus w/ CK013
Slate Notes: Cole will most likely be the chalk after his last outing against the same Padres lineup. In cash I think he’s popular enough to play but in GPPs, I’m going elsewhere for a different build.
Luis Castillo – Love this kid on all formats the Cardinals have stuck out 30.6% in the last seven days, second behind the Brewers. Big K-upside and while I am slightly concerned about his 8 inning outing in his last start, he did have an extra day off.
Dinelson Lamet – I like this kid a lot and he did well against the Pirates in his last outing. Still a big park even though now its in PNC and while the Pirates don’t K a lot I think this kid is still worth a shot in GPPs with his upside and ownership.
