Hey WiseTake Nation,
10 game slate down to 9 with Cubs game already PPD.
The player listed are value mostly due to he price and in good spots. I try not to list the obvious plays, so most of them should be contrarian.
1B
CJ Cron (TB)
Good matchup here for Cron as he faces Martin Perez who has given up 19 hits and 11 runs in 8.1 innings over last two games. Cron usually bats cleanup vs LHP and has a.232 ISO and 45% FB ratio. Stack with Ramos/Duffy.
Matt Olson (OAK)
Hits very well vs RHP .458 wOBA and .407 ISO with and increase in distance as of late of 13 ft. Lopez has been pitching well, but Oak is hitting the ball well and I can see them getting to him tonight at home. Stack with Lowrie, Chapman and Davis.
2B
Jed Lowrie (OAK)
Lowrie is hitting he ball well so far this year- .400 avg., .455 wOBA, .295 ISO and 42% HC vs RHP. He has seen an increase in HC of +11 % as of late.
Enrique(Kike) Hernandez (LAD)
Hits well vs LHP with a .374 wOBA and .278 ISO.
3B
Christian Villanueva (SD)
He is crushing the ball as of late and hits very well vs LHP. Stack with Pirela, Renfroe.
SS
Pat Valaika (COL)
Minimal price bat with big power vs LHP. Story in a good spot as well, but priced at 3.1K on FD.
Scott Kingery (Phi)
Looks like he is getting more comfortable in the league now. Crushing the ball as of late straight games with hits. Average distance of 230 ft and 50 % FB ratio. Teheran struggles a bit at home. Stack with Santana, Hoskins and Hernandez.
OF
Steve Pearce (TOR)
Hits the ball well vs LHP- .356 wOBA and.296 ISO. Mini stack with Smoak- good chance they both go yard in this matchup.
Adam Duvall (CIN)
Duvall has shown power in Miller Park with a 11% HR chance. Starting to heat up.
Domingo Santana (MIL)
Castillo throws heat and Santana hits well vs 95 + mph fastballs. Like his chances to go yard tonight and no one will be on him. Stack with Shaw.
Hunter Renfroe (SD)
Is there a lefty in the mound? Yes. Then he is in play
Jake Marisnick (HOU)
I play Marisnick at home vs RHP and on the toad vs LHP. He hits the knuckle-curve well and Paxton throws it over 20% if the time. .
Utility spot FD only- Chris Iannetta only 2.3k on FD and he crushes LHP- .407 wOBA and .254 ISO. Contrarian play to throw him in at utility.
*Good Luck and Stay Cashing
