Hey WiseTake Nation,
6 game slate now that the Dodgers and Giants game is postponed.
I try not to list the most obvious plays/chalk. The plays listed will usually have lower ownership and high upside.
Stacks are listed under some of the players.
1B
Danny Valencia (BAL)
Hits LHP well vs LHP. Nice park for hitters. Stack with Machado, Schoop and Jones.
Matt Olson (OAK)
Crushes RHP- .439 wOBA, .434 ISO and 43.3 HC. Stack with Lowrie, Chapman and K Davis.
2B
Jonathan Schoop (BAL)
Hits very well vs LHP -.397 wOBA and .293 ISO 39.5% HC. Nice park for hitters.
Devon Travis (TOR)
Leads off for the Jays. Hits LHP well with a .423 wOBA and .290 ISO. Nice park for hitters. Stack with Donaldson, Smoak or Pearce, Pillar for more contrarian stack.
3B
Zach Cozart (LAA)
Like the Angels RHH’s vs Gossett who has allowed a .383 wOBA and 2.4 HR’s/9 over his short MLB career. Cozart hits well vs both RHP and LHP. Sneaky stack- Cozart, Upton, Trout and Simmons.
Andrian Beltre (TEX)
Hits RHp well- .363 wOBA and .212 ISO. Estrada struggles vs RHH with a .366 wOBA.
SS
Elvis Andrus (TEX)
. 340 wOBA. vs RHP. Good park for hitters and decent BvP. Like him to go yard tonight. Estrada struggles vs RHH’s .366 wOBA. Stack with Gallo, Beltre.
OF
Jake Marisnick (HOU)
Hopefully he makes the lineup today. Crushes RHP at home with over .400 wOBA and ISO. Heat map matches up very well with Perdomo. Yes, Perdomo is a ground ball pitcher, but he has also given up 2.1 HRs/9 to RHH’s. Cheaper, more contrarian HOU play.i I play him at home vs Rhp just about every time due to his upside and low ownership. Contrarian stack- Marisnick, Bregman, Redick and Gonzalez.
Adam Duvall (CIN)
Duvall has power vs RHP’s as well. He is a streaky hitter and hits HR’s in clusters. 3-8 vs Williams.
Steven Pearce (TOR)
Crushes LHP. If he makes the lineup he is worth a shot. Contrarian play for chalk Jays with HR upside.
Kevin Pillar (TOR)
Pillar is another Jays bat that hits LHP well .395 wOBA, .229 ISO. Pearce and Pillar are contrarian plays for Jays. Add one or both to your Jays stack.
Jesse Winker (CIN)
Hits RHP well .438 wOBA and .271 ISO sneaky play with power upsides. Like him to go yard if he cracks the lineups.
*Good Luck and Stay Cashing
