NBA DFS Value Plays by FantasyBum
Hey WiseTake Nation!! 6 game slate tonight with five players over 10k and a few more at around 9k. Will needn’t some value tonight.
This article will focus on value plays and today they will be under 6k using FanDuel pricing. These are the players I think have the best chance of hitting and or exceeding value. Most of these plays will give you good value with upside to help in GPP’s. The plays are best used in addition to your favorite higher priced plays.
*Pricing and DvP are based off FanDuel, but can be used for most sites.
**Risk/Reward plays are best for GPP’s as a punt play. High upside at their price along with some risk.
Point Guards
DeJounte Murray ($5500)
Murray was back in action last night after missing a game with an ankle injury. He played 28 minutes and put up 25 FP’s. Tonight he gets a very good matchup against the Nuggets who have allowed 52.8 FP’s over the last two weeks. Nice upside if he sees close to 30 minutes with this matchup.
Tyler Johnson ($4200)
He is still underpriced for his upside.
De’Aaron Fox ($6000)
Priced right to hit value, but not much more. Good matchup vs the Mavericks.
Risk/Reward Play – Tyler Dorsey continues to see over 20 plus minutes and close to 10 shot attempts per game as of late.
Shooting Guards
Kent Bazemore ($5600)
Floor of 22 FP’s with a ceiling close to 40. Nice matchup tonight and should have no problem putting up 25, but could see over 30. Plays well vs the Bucks with back to back 30 FP games.
Danny Green ($4600)
Green has played well lately. Spurs will need him to play solid minutes to help defend against the Nuggets guards. Pace up game with more opportunities gives him some upside.
Risk/Reward Play – Devin Harris is in play if Jamal Murray sits out.
Small Forwards
Taureen Prince ($4000)
Prince has been up and down as of late, but I think he is in a good spot tonight vs the Bucks. I like to play wings vs the Bucks and he also had a 30 FP game vs them earlier this season.
Wilson Chandler ($4500)
Chandler has played well in his last two games and may have gotten his confidence back in his shot as he put up 26 real points last game. I am going to ride his mini streak as he should be low owned and the Nuggets will need him to play minutes against the Spurs.
Risk/Reward Play – Cedi Osman is starting again tonight and has played well recently.
Power Forwards
Ryan Anderson ($3600)
Ryno is too cheap for this matchup tonight. Fast paced, close spread game and he should see a lot of open shots tonight.
Taj Gibson ($5400)
The Timberwolves starters usually play over 30 minutes a night. Fast paced game with close spread. Lots of rebounding and defensive opportunities.
Risk/Reward Play – James Johnson price has fallen and he is too cheap for his upside. Poor play as of late is the risk, but can go out any night and drop 30 FP’s.
Centers
Dewayne Dedmon ($5900)
Dedmon saw an increase in minutes last game and came through with 47 FP’s. He may have earned back more minutes. Also, gets a good matchup as I like to target the Bucks with C’s.
Pau Gasol ($6000)
Nice bump in usage with Aldridge off the floor and we saw what he can do last night. Nice matchup and pace up game.
