NBA DFS Value Plays by FantasyBum
Hey WiseTake Nation!! We are back from the All-Star break and ready for some NBA DFS. 6 games on the slate. Here we go.
This article will focus on value plays and today they will be under 6k (in most cases) using FanDuel pricing. These are the players I think have the best chance of hitting and or exceeding value. Most of these plays will give you good value with upside in GPP’s. The plays are best used in addition to your favorite higher priced plays.
*Pricing and DvP are based off FanDuel, but can be used for most sites.
Point Guards
Kris Dunn ($6400)
Dunn is slightly over the 6k mark, but he is under priced right now. Minutes restriction is off, coach wants to run the young guys and he has a 25% usage rate. Fast paced game with a lot of FP opportunities on both ends of the court. Looking for a big game from Dunn tonight.
Emmanuel Mudiay ($4600)
Mudiay has been working with the first team in practices as of late and could find himself starting tonight in a very good matchup. He has a 25% usage rate with .9 FPPM so far this year. The upside is definitely there tonight.
Austin Rivers is also in play now that Avery Bradley has been ruled out. Should see solid minutes and Warriors have allowed close to 50 FP’s a game to opposing PG’s.
Tomas Satoransky has been balling and get an excellent matchup tonight.
Shooting Guards
JJ Redick ($5100)
Redick has been playing well lately with 23 or more FP’s in five straight games now. Excellent matchup against the Bulls, who have been one of the worst teams defending the SG. Fast paced game, so he could get up a lot of shots and if he gets hot he could score well over 20 real points. Marco Belinelli is in play as well. Getting solid minutes and excellent matchup.
Rodney Hood ($4800)
Price went down and he is playing around 20 minutes a game with the Cavs. 20 plus FP’s over the past two games. Fast pace game, so he should do well.
Small Forwards
David Nwaba ($3500)
The coach has already announced Nwaba as a starter after the All-Star break. He has played well as a starter averaging 9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists over a 3 game time period. Cheap price for a starting SF in a fast paced game. Denzel Valentíne is a solid option as well for just over min price.
Kelly Oubre ($4700)
Oubre has an excellent matchup tonight and has been playing close to 30 minutes a game. High scoring game and both teams have lacked defensively as of late.
Power Forwards
Frank Kaminsky ($3600)
Kaminsky’s price is down again and tonight he has an excellent matchup. High upside at this price and pace up game.
Quincy Acy ($3800)
Acy has been playing close to 30 minutes a game recently. Cheap option with 7x upside.
Centers
Cristiano Felicio ($3500)
The Bulls want to play the younger guys going forward. Felicio has been named the starting C. Cheap option in decent matchup. DvP may say otherwise, but I like to target the Sixers with opposing C’s.
Jarrett Allen ($5300)
Allen is in a good spot as the Hornets have allowed 55.9 FP’s to opposing C’s over the past two weeks.
