Hey WiseTake Nation, 11 game slate which means we need some value.

The Cavs/Suns, Lakers/Nuggets and Pelicans/Hornets have the fastest paced and highest totals on the slate.

This article will focus on value plays and today they will be under 6k (in most cases) using FanDuel pricing. These are the players I think have the best chance of hitting and or exceeding value. Most of these plays will give you good value with upside in GPP’s. The plays are best used in addition to your favorite higher priced plays.

*Pricing and DvP are based off FanDuel, but can be used for most sites.

Point Guards

Emmanuel Mudiay ($4900)

Mudiay has put together two solid games now 29.1 and 27.4 FP’s. Tonight, he gets a very good matchup as the Mavericks have allowed close to 50 FP’s to opposing PG’s over the past two weeks. Also, the Mavericks  have not been playing well and Mudiay shouldn’t have no problem hitting/exceeding value tonight.

George Hill ($4700)

This is a game I want some exposure as it has the 2nd fastest pace(Pelicans/Hornets fastest pace on slate) and both teams have struggled defensively.  Hill is plays solid minutes and has the 7x plus upside in this matchup. The Suns have allowed the most FP’s to opposing PG’s over the past two weeks(55.8).

DJ Augastin ($4500)

Augastin has been mediocre as of late with a few 30 plus games here and there. Tonight, the Magic visit the Spurs, who have allowed 52.7 FP’s over the past two weeks to PG’s(2nd worst in the slate). Augastin and Shelvin Mack are both in play in this matchup and one of them will have a big game.

Risk/Reward Play/s (2)TJ McConnel is too cheap to pass up. Has massive upside with steals and triple/double potential.

Tyler Dorsey should see some extra minutes as Bazemore done for the season. He could get the start at SG and has done well as a starter (Average- 10.5points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1 steal in two starts) Could get low ownership after a few games where he barely hit value.

Shooting Guards

Caris LaVert ($5300)

LaVert is playing very well since returning from injury hitting/exceeding value in four straight games. Playing solid minutes and has shown close to 50 FP upside as of late.

Kyle Korver ($4400)

I don’t play Korver much at all, but this is an elite matchup and he has been playing solid minutes. Very good chance he exceeds value tonight.

Risk/Reward Play- Shaquille Harrison has played well for the Suns this year when he has seen minutes. Hit value in last two games and gets an nice matchup today.

Small Forwards

Corey Brewer ($4100)

Three straight games hitting or exceeding value and his price has not gone up much. Excellent matchup as the Hawks have allowed the 2nd most FP’s (47.2) to opposing SG’s where Brewer has been starting at.

Michael Beasley ($4900)
The price has fallen on Beasley and this is a good time to play him against a struggling Maverick team. His minutes are still solid as he played 22 or more in last four games(29, 22, 25, 25). I don’t see him pickup up much ownership and he could be a sneaky play that puts up a big game.

David Nwaba ($4300)

The Bulls have been playing some of the younger guys and Nwaba has seen consistent minutes as of late. Excellent matchup as the Clippers are one of the worst teams defensively overall and they rank 3rd worst against SF’s on this slate over past two weeks.

If Reggie Bullock sits I have a lot of interest in James Ennis, who has been playing well.

Power Forward

Dragan Bender ($4400)

The Suns continue to play Bender over 30 minutes a game. This is an excellent matchup as the Cavs have struggled defending the PF and are the worst defeat the C, where Bender gets some time as well. He should have not problem getting his shot off and could do some damage from behind the arc.

Serge Ibaka ($5200) & Pascal Siakam ($4400)

These guys are both in play tonight vs the Nets. Ibaka has done very well in the past against them posting 47.4, 31.3, and 45.5 over the last the meetings. Siakam has been playing well and this is a great matchup.

Noah Vonleh ($3500)

Minimal price for a player who has 7-8x upside. Excellent matchup.

Risk/Reward Play- Marvin Williams or Frank Kaminsky: Both are in play, but Williams is a GtD. Fastest paced game on the slate. Williams put up 34.8 and 48.5 vs the Pelicans in last two (Sneaky play with high upside), so prefer Williams if he plays.

Centers

I don’t see much value under 6k that does not possess some sort of risk, so I will list three players under Risk/Reward.

Risk/Reward Play/s- Marcin Gortat is risky because of his minutes, but I do think they will need his size against KAT tonight. Only 3.8k and could deliver 8x plus value.

Norlens Noel–  has played in five of the last six games. Risk here is minutes or even playing, but with Merji listed out already I see Noel getting some time. High upside if he gets over 20 minutes in this matchup.

Joffrey Lauvergne- on a back to back it is possible to see Gasol out or limited, especially if Aldridge is back. Nice matchup and pace up game.

*Good Luck and Stay Cashing.
