Hey WiseTake Nation,
6 game slate and most of the attention should be going towards the Pelican/Laker game as it has the highest total and fastest pace. Remember this is the 3rd game in a row for the Pelicans. I will definitely have some exposure here, but there are good plays through out the slate. Gave a few GPP/Punt plays and Darius Miller is one of my favorite tonight.
Value plays are usually 6k and under using FanDuel pricing.

Point Guards
Shelvin Mack ($3900)
Three straight games hitting or exceeding value and his price is under 4K. Under priced in my opinion. The Sixers have done well defensively and rank as one of the better teams with FP allowed per game, but one are they lack a bit in is against PG’s. Now that Simmons and Isaac have been ruled out I can see Mack getting more minutes and he becomes my Lock and Load play of the day.
JJ Barea ($5600)
When was the last time Barea out up 40 FP’s you ask? Oh yeah, it was against the Jazz 40.6. Rubio is not a good defender look what Schroder did to him the last game. DSJ is out and he Mavericks are limited on guards, so I expect Barea to play tonight.
TJ McConnell- I have been playing him a lot on GPP’ as of late due to his price and upside. His minutes have been down a bit due to Belinelli playing more, but on a back-to-back against a bad team he is in play. If he get hit and is playing well they will keep him in and rhis could in this matchup.
Shooting Guards
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5500)
Love this price and this spot for KCP tonight. Continues to play well and could do very well tonight on both ends of the court. Cheap exposure to the highest total and fastest paced game on rhe slate. Lakers will need him on the court a lot tonight and could see him returning 6-7x.
Bogdan Bogdonivic ($4800)
Like this price a lot for someone who plays mid 20’s to 30 minutes a game and is going against the Hawks who have allowed the most FP’s over the past two weeks on this slate. I prefer Bogdonivic a bit over shield due to the reduced priced and similar upside. He is listed as probable, but watch his status. If he sits I would move towards Justin Jackson and potentially Hield.
Marco Belinelli ($3900)
I was debating him or Redick as both should do well in this matchup. I think Belinelli is a better value and should have no problem getting behind the line and raining some 3’s. Can see him putting up 25-30 FP’s.
If Chris Paul sits out you can rock-n-roll with some Eric Gordon.
Small Forwards
Stanley Johnson ($4500)
Johnson is the Pistons best defender and we should see him in the court a good amount agains the Rockets. He may even guard Harden, which would make me like him more due to the defensive stat potential. As good as Harden is he does turn the ball over a lot. Price is up a bit, but still think he hits value and may get low ownership.
Mario Hezonja ($4500)
The Magic have already listed Simmons amen Isaac out, so Hezonja May start and should see a bump in minutes. Plays well last time vs Sixers 25 minutes and 29 FP’s. Should be popular.
Dillon Brook ($4800)
Great matchup as the Hornets have been giving up a ton of FP’s as of late. Brooke’s has been playing a lot of minutes and taking shots.
GPP play- Daris Miller– the Pelicans are playing a 3rd game in as many days. This could mean extended minutes for Miller. In this matchup he should crush value at 3.5k. Punt play that could pay off at 2-4% ownership.
If Chris Paul is out you could look to Trevor Ariza.
Power Forwards
Nikola Mirotic ($5500)
I will continue to play Mirotic at this price and especially in this game. Fast pace/high scoring.
Dirk Nowitzki ($5100)
Was trying to decide between Nowitzki and Powell. I think Nowitzki is safer and has played well vs the Jazz. 35 FP’s last time vs Jazz. Does well in the slower paced games.
Frank Kaminsky ($4200)
Kaminsky has been mediocre as of late, but he breaks out if it tonight. Should see additional minutes and usage with Howard off the floor and he gets a Grizzlies team without Gasol. Don’t see anyone keeping up with The Tank tonight. See him having a Big game.
If Zach Randolph sits iut I really like Skal Labassiere. Should do very well vs the Hawks.
Centers
Dewayne Dedmon ($5800)
This is a great matchup for Dedmon as the Kings do not defend the C position well. He is playing close to 30 minutes now with Collins out. Also, he put up 56.3 FP’s against the Kings earlier this season.
Willy Hernangomez ($4000)
I suggested him yesterday and he did not get much run due to Howard dominating the he game and minutes. He did put up 13 FP’s in 13 minutes. Tonight Howard is out and so is Marc Gasol on the Grizzles, which make this an excellent matchup for Hernangomez as Gasol is a good defender. A possibility that Zeller comes back tonight, but I don’t expect him to play a lot even though he may get the start if he plays. High upside at this price.
